Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the team operating the 2026 CRS Score Calculator app (CRSCalculator) handles information when you use the App, or contact us. It also covers the app information website at crscalculator.app.

Privacy questions can be sent to contact@CRSCalculator.app. Using the App does not replace any separate consent required for advertising or other data processing.

1. Information collection and use

No account or login required. CRS Score Calculator does not require an account or sign-in. You can use the calculator without providing your name, email address, or password. There is no app account to delete.

Calculator answers. The calculator uses information such as age, education, language results, and work experience to produce an estimate. Calculator answers are intended to be processed on your device. These calculator answers are not sent to us or used for advertising.

Support messages. When you contact us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. Please do not send passports, application numbers, passwords, verification codes, or immigration documents.

AdMob and technical information. In App versions with Google AdMob, its SDK may process IP addresses, device or other identifiers, app interactions, and diagnostic information for advertising, measurement, analytics, and fraud prevention. Settings, SDK versions, and privacy choices affect processing. Local calculations do not mean that the whole App collects no information.

Permissions. Permissions depend on the released App and its features. Where access requires a device permission, review the explanation and system prompt before deciding. This policy does not assert that a camera, precise-location, contacts, or storage permission is required for CRS scoring.

Website information. This website has no login, signup, or web calculator. It stores your light or dark theme preference locally. Hosting providers may process network information, request times, and security logs to deliver and protect the site.

2. How information is used

• Provide calculator results using the answers entered on your device.
• Respond to support requests and send necessary service messages.
• Maintain reliability, investigate faults, and prevent misuse or unauthorised access.
• Process privacy and deletion requests and meet applicable legal obligations.

Advertising providers process information for their disclosed advertising and measurement purposes. Calculator answers are not intended to be used for advertising. Marketing messages, if introduced, must have appropriate choice and opt-out controls.

3. Sharing, providers, and international processing

Hosting, email, and other service providers process information needed to deliver the service. App versions using Google Play Services or AdMob also involve Google. Additional advertising mediation partners, if enabled, have their own information practices.

Read Google's Privacy Policy, Google's advertising information, and Mobile Ads SDK disclosures. We do not sell or rent support messages. AdMob data processing is disclosed separately; it should not be interpreted as no third-party sharing.

Information may be disclosed when required by law, to investigate fraud or security incidents, or to protect lawful rights. If a business transfer changes who is responsible for personal information, appropriate notice and safeguards will be used as required. Providers may process information outside your country under their applicable policies and safeguards.

4. Retention, removing local information, and your rights

There is no app account or server-side account profile to delete. If the App saves information locally, you can remove it by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling it. Device backups may require separate removal. Clear the website's browser data to remove a saved theme preference.

Support correspondence is retained as needed to resolve requests and meet applicable legal or security obligations. To request access, correction, or deletion of information held by us, email contact@CRSCalculator.app. We may need proportionate information to verify the request. Do not send passwords, identification documents, or immigration files.

We will handle verified requests without undue delay, subject to applicable legal deadlines. Limited records may need to remain for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, or legal claims. We will explain an applicable exception and its scope.

Google and other providers apply their own retention policies. Uninstalling the App, clearing its storage, or resetting an advertising ID does not automatically delete information already held independently by those providers.

5. Security

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information handled. Google reports that its Mobile Ads SDK transmits collected information using TLS. No service can guarantee absolute security. Tell us if you discover a security concern. We will address security incidents and provide notifications where required by applicable law.

6. Children

The App is an immigration information service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

7. Policy changes

We may update this policy as features, providers, or information practices change. The revised policy will be available here. Where required, we will give an additional notice or request consent before applying a change.

For support, privacy inquiries, or requests to delete support correspondence or other information held by us, email contact@CRSCalculator.app. Identify the App as CRS Score Calculator and include only the information needed to handle the request.

9. Advertising choices

Use an advertising privacy-options control offered in your App version to review consent choices. Device settings may let you reset or delete an advertising ID. Non-personalised or limited ads do not necessarily eliminate all processing. Read the advertising privacy section below.

Advertising & privacy choices

An app can calculate locally and still process information through its advertising services.

Why advertising uses information

Google AdMob may process identifiers, IP addresses, app interactions, and diagnostic information for ad delivery, measurement, analytics, and fraud prevention. The specific processing depends on the app's SDK and advertising settings.

Personalised, non-personalised, and limited ads

Personalised ads may reflect interests or activity where permitted. Other ad modes can reduce personalisation or identifier use, but do not necessarily eliminate all data processing.

Managing choices in the app

If your app version displays a privacy or consent message, review the available options. Where a privacy-options control is provided, you can return to it to change your preferences. This website cannot change consent stored by the mobile app or its advertising providers.

Managing device settings

Android's advertising settings may let you reset or delete your advertising ID. Available options vary by device and Android version. You can also review Google My Ad Center and Google's advertising information.

Information, not a government decision

CRS estimates and immigration summaries are educational tools. They are not an eligibility determination, an invitation, a nomination, approval, or legal advice. We are independent of IRCC and the governments of Canada, British Columbia, and Ontario.

CRS Score Calculator does not replace official government websites, immigration program rules, application instructions, or advice from a licensed immigration professional. Always verify scores, draw results, deadlines, and eligibility directly with the responsible government authority before taking action. Check our official sources. We do not submit applications, represent you before an authority, or create a professional-client relationship through use of the App.

No account or login

The App does not require registration or sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your device secure. Support will not ask you for a password or one-time code.

Your information and decisions

You are responsible for entering accurate answers and checking that your education, language tests, work experience, and other information meet official requirements. Do not misrepresent an app estimate as a government assessment. Before applying, paying fees, travelling, leaving work, or making other significant decisions, verify requirements through official sources and obtain qualified advice as needed.

Availability and updates

Rules, draw thresholds, and program availability can change. We aim to keep information useful but cannot promise that every summary is current or that the service is uninterrupted. Past draws do not predict future results. We may correct errors, maintain the service, or change features. Material changes affecting the service will be communicated where required.

Responsible use

Do not attempt unauthorised access, interfere with service security, impersonate another person, use the service for fraud, or infringe another person's rights. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse or protect security. Such restrictions do not remove your applicable privacy rights.

Advertising and external services

An advertisement or external link is not our endorsement of a provider, professional, or product. External services have their own terms. Do not share sensitive immigration documents with an advertiser without checking the recipient and purpose.

Payments, if offered

If paid features or subscriptions are offered, prices and conditions must be disclosed before purchase. Store-managed purchases and refunds follow applicable store rules and consumer law. Uninstalling the App does not necessarily cancel a subscription; manage it through the store where it was purchased. This website itself does not take payments.

Content ownership

Respect the rights of the owners of app code, branding, and content. Government materials remain subject to their own licences and terms. These terms do not claim ownership of government information or your personal information.

Limits and your legal rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without a guarantee of accuracy, uninterrupted availability, suitability for a particular immigration outcome, or success. We are not responsible for losses resulting from reliance on estimates or third-party information where the law permits that limitation.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, limits mandatory consumer or privacy rights, or excuses obligations imposed by applicable law. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions apply to the extent permitted.
